• Companion Care - One of the most important aspects of in-home care is providing a strong sense of belonging and comfort. Taking an interest in the client, his/her life and environment creates a lasting bond between caregiver and the individual. Whether it is playing a favorite board game or card game, reading, taking a stroll or visiting with friends and neighbors, life is meant to be enjoyed by the individual.

• Personal Assistance - Help with pre-poured medicine, personal hygiene, nail care, hairdressing, picking out coordinated outfits, help with getting dressed or applying makeup. Our caregivers take pride in keeping the best interests of the client at heart.

• Home Making Services - This covers all the basics of looking after a home, such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, garbage disposal, utilities checks, watering indoor plants, and everything else that may have at one time been addressed by the client.

• Errand & Transportation - If mobility is a concern, the caregiver can attend any function, doctor’s appointment or errand with the client. Whether it is to a local sporting event, family gathering or shopping excursion, the client will have the added security of someone to lean on. Our caregiver maintains the client's schedule so that important appointments are not missed.

• 24 Hour Live-in Care - Live-in care is provided to individuals who require around the clock service. The caregiver provides all levels of personal, social and domestic care appropriate to the individual client.

• Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care - Most people hope to age safely and comfortably in their own home, including those managing AD. Many people with Alzheimer’s can safely stay in their own home, and that’s where Senior Care Companion can provide care assistance. Our caregivers have extensive training and experience in how to provide in-home care for people with AD . It may include but not limited to.
  

o Assisting the client with dressing or grooming
o Aiding the client in communication
o Improving eating habits with healthy meal planning
o Enhancing home safety by implementing measures to prevent wandering or driving away
o And….much needed respite care for family members

• Feeding Assistance - We understand that it is usually hard for an adult to accept the idea of not being able to feed himself. The reasons are varied; however, the sense of loss of independence is real. Our caregivers understand the emotions and feelings this can result into, and take the extra effort to make the environment and mealtime special.

• Medication Reminders - Our caregivers can assist with opening medication containers, reading labels, and reminding client of scheduled medications, and so forth.

• Respite Care - We are committed to providing relief to family caregivers for a few hours a day, or around-the-clock. Our caregivers are trained to attend to the needs of your loved one(s), while you fulfill other responsibilities and obligations.
